
Rabbi William Thompson is a North Carolina native living in Tennessee with his husband Josh. He graduated from Clemson University with a B.A. in Philosophy and received smicha (ordination) from the bet din of the Rabbinical Seminary International. He is a commissioned rabbi of the Society of Jewish Science and a member of the International Federation of Rabbis.
Rabbi William was raised in Baptist Christianity and converted to Judaism through the Reform Movement in 2015. He is passionate about helping people by applying the wisdom of Judaism to their lives, and he is especially interested in providing a welcoming space for the LGBTQ community and spiritual seekers of all types to explore their spirituality.
